whar: lol thats awesome... i always smashed through those trash cans, but never knew of the billboard. and i used that UFO teleport thing alll the freakin time. there is a moose head hieroglyph in UC2, in the techy env set. put a smiley face on the tip of the Boomshot projectiles in Gears, homage to flak cannon in UT
Project Overview: We are developing the first Arabic-style mobile fighting game in Unity and are looking for a talented 3D Character or Environment Modeler to bring our vision to life. This is an exciting long-term opportunity as we are planning multiple characters and stages for the game. What We Need: * 3D Character…
Hi! I would see the project through to the end and learn as you go. This geometry is non deforming, so I think the main concern would be to achieve a good shape/proportions and shading. If you plan to use vertex colors to blend textures, it makes sense to have a topology that supports this (evenly spread loops?). Assuming…
Hello to all who are following. Had my head down the past couple weeks. Again, thank you for everyone's support nad feedback thus far! The LAAT Gunship has been paused for now so I can get on with the all the other bits of the project. Though I do hope to come back to the Gunship toward the end to improve, maybe remodel…
Brygelsmack: Thanks mate! My older work wouldn't probably fit in here, since that was way before I could model anything ;) sltrOlsson: Thanks man! When I'm sculpting I tend to rely on a very small amount of brushes. In zbrush, I tend to use Standard, Smooth Stronger, Trim Dynamic and High Polish. I tend to use Trim Dynamic…
This looks like a fun competition! I'd be intrested in getting involved in an ENV but I'm not having much luck finding any information about some of the workflow that is used to create the kind of art style you guys have in your games. where can i find some information to get me going? Thanks
Cheers! It's real-time 3d so the frame rate is jst blend samples, can't be stepped without some trickery, that said you might be on to something so I'll investigate. Theres so much more to do.. haven't even started on environmental effects or weapons! Your env effects and weapons are looking great!
Hey Shadowliger, great job on the silhouettes for both pieces, looks like you got both shapes down. The textures seem a little basic at the minute, a little variation would go a long way with both pieces. With the bike, I can see two sections which end in a point where they actually end in a curve on the actual bike. I'm…
Hi guys, I added a few bits and pieces on the legs, and I also noticed that previous leg design objects were still on the scene when I rendered the last image, so here is what I'm calling "final". Looking forward to your comments and critics on this. I will keep working to other pieces of the env. ;)
If I'm not mistaken he's also right handed in skyward sword... I read somewhere, that they stayed with that because of the wii gamepads... because most people are right handed and so their movements would fit Links better. It's kinda sad, that they changed that... because he has been left handed for soooo many years.…
