Might want to switch to a grey clay mat cap. Redwax tends to send misinformation about certain highlights, etc, as cool as it looks. -

your wood planks look a bit clay-like. they have too many little bumps and those cavities might be too deep. -

Clay tubes is so nice. I have trouble making sharp, thin, deep slices though, what's a good tool/brush for that? -

@Endzeit thats actualy very easy to achieve, just masked the areas, inverted the mask and then went over it with low intensity clay-brush.
