Thanks guys! yeah @8bitTurtle Ive struggled alot with it on this project... idk if what I have is the best result but I wanted to try something new. and good point @Enalya I tried putting some lighter brown gradient into the tufts initially but changed it for some reason. Thanks!
This link may help you: http://www.gamasutra.com/salarysurvey2014.pdf Understand some areas are more expensive to live than in others so the same money in one place that could give you a good lifestyle may only give you a decent life style in other places.
It looks better, yes! there's a slight pop at the end though; the normal hand going back to idle pose suddenly goes front then back again, try to have it smoothly go back to pose shoulder can flinch, no problem, the normal hand deserves some weight to it good stuff
The bones (helpers) you want to export need to be constrained not parented to the offset controllers. Page 15 of the PDF you linked to. Maybe you can post a screenshot of the hierarchy in the schematic view so we can get a better idea on how you set up your scene.
So this might sound like a really stupid question but if I intended to animate a taunt for the dark seer model, how would I ensure my model has the same starting pose as the idle position as the hero in-game? this is a really cool resource by the way so thank you :)
MMm how many polygons are in this? idk if it really looks very "realtime" at least not anything that would work in a modern console or pc title. Although the specs are getting really high lately. I'd guess if the face was a little more optimized and something was done about the hair it'd work.
Damn how did you guys leveling so fast. . . i'm still stuck in lvl 1 (doesn't have more time to play skyrim except weekend) =.= True, idk how bethesda bake their normal map for the face. but it can be fixed though by editing the normal map...
The transition from mountains to flat ground is not very natural. I'd usually start with a sculpt and use that in World Machine so you know things are structured and transition the way you want. I've never seen it done without a sculpt so idk how that works out tho.
If you look at the PDF they sent, your card is listed as tested without caveats. But, the problem is really driver based. Which is probably why upgrading to Win 10 fixed it for me. Also the only *real* difference between Geforce and Quadro cards are the drivers(besides RAM and build quality).
Here is a quick "fix", turn off the "realtime game mode preview" on the viewport. the CPU will go down and resume normal "idle" state. I have to do this on my laptop. I can see from your screenshot that it is on. (the icon next to the "P" , i am unsure of the name)
