Nice shapes :+1: But the srcatches are missing detail. It just looks like chipped paint without any other kind of damage. When this is made with painter then easy use the height channel to fake depth fot those marks :)
Nice. Good to see you're incorporating some of the neater aspects of the original design like the holsters. I remember one of the higher damage punch daggers in the game is a fancy corkscrew which could make for a fun addition here.
Then wouldn't that be a documentary on being an artist in the games industry? It's a lot more specific, and it's but one role amongst many more in any game studio. At the moment we suffice with interviews, which are quite good, like the ones at Splash Damage.
Hi, great theme! Like the texture of the blocks the geometry of them look to straight to me... I suggest bumping in those lines (to make a more interesting silouette as well) and make them look more damaged, old and irregular.
decals\damage decals? http://docs.cryengine.com/display/SDKDOC2/Using+Decals+for+Destroyed+Structures tbh not sure I understand your problem. Try a paintover showing where you want your mats. arrows are not super clear
Yeah Zbrush doesn't support the space mouse, very frustrating. 3D-coat does though. If the pain is severe enough it could be worth switching applications to avoid permanent damage and more serious medical conditions down the road.
Yeah, that's basically the work flow, in it's simplest form. If you are able to, I would highly recommend either the Old Damaged Pillar dvd from Eat3D, or racer445's AK tutorial. They both go through the whole process.
I actually have a problem with this suggestion. It's dangerous and is part of a larger fear-based mindset which can be more damaging than helpful. Vaccines are a necessary, and practical, part of modern medicine. Only a fool would suggest otherwise.
Holy shhhhhhh-flawless victory sir! She really turned out very clean looking, which is meant as a compliment, although it would be cool to see a "battle damaged" version with scrapes, bruises, runny make-up etc.
Massbot this is coming out awesomely. The keyshot renders really do the sculpting work justice mate, I might have to give that a shot soon. Sword is looking good, love the damaged sheath touch you gave it :D
