Wait a second... Custom games are free with this... Blizzard All Stars has been under wraps for some time... Could blizzard release Blizzard All Stars in the near future in an asshole attempt to steal valves thunder? Baha, not sayin' it's gonna happen but it's funny to think about!
1. Clone and collapse your object. 2. Attach the new objects to the clone. 3. Add a SkinWrap Modifier to the clone. 4. Add original Skinned mesh to the SkinWrap modifier. 5. Make sure Skin Wrap is on Face Deformation Engine. 6. Then click Convert to Skin.
More Progress on the sculpting. Was getting OCD with getting the belts and straps correct. Alot of tweaking to get the strap going through the lopp correctly and getting it to wrap around the shape right. Also got his weapons and a fair few other details added. Been a long day.
I wrapped up the highpoly and I have decided on a ghoulish direction, it will be more of an undead shepherd, I am not happy with it, but I have to move on to maybe finish in time. The topology on the lowpoly, landed on around 7700 tri, I will update with bakes and first texture iteration soon.
I started to block out the environment over the weekend a bit. Here is the concept, it's from the first Mass Effect I think. Hopefully this week I can wrap up the block out and start to pull all of the assets into their own files and start the high poly versions.
you are looking for wrap mode; http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Wrap_mode I have used this to great effect with tiling organic stuff; http://carlosmontero.com/media_envtex_sculpts.php There's a whole bunch of awesome links on tiled sculpting on the polycount wiki as well;…
Updated the lighting to less suck, and working on the color pass. Still have a fair bit to go, but will hopefully be able to wrap this up later today (is 3:25 am so today is yesterday's tomorrow) EDIT: "Finished" the picture this evening, didn't feel like a new post.
So finally, time to wrap this up. Here are my final shots! It was really fun to do the contest and It's been great seeing everyone's hard work during the last months. I learn a lot during the process and hope to make a another hand-painting soon. Cheers!
Caught this last night, and I enjoyed it. I'm not sure if it was as good as the first two, but going into it with low X-spectations helped me enjoy it. Overall, it seemed like they could have focused on some of the characters more and others less. Felt like a good wrap up for the series.
Say hello to my happy little accident. I call him, Guapo! All I did for the unicorns was add the goatee, horn, hair tuft around horn, tail wrapping, and the loving hair. Was only meant as a joke, but I guess it's a really hard quest now. ^_^
