great job everyone! :) I´ve finally found some time to finish this old project on Bane that I started working on some time ago. Does anyone know what these artifact brown dots are? and how do I get rid of those? I got them while switching between low to high subdivision levels.. :(
oo, daphz, was watching you stream earlier. sick stuff! crossposting! new pics for wip, udk old school DM map using single diffuse and normal textures. more in sketchbook http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52565&page=9 goal is to wrap this up asap and release for peeps to play, check out, hate on.
Posting a small update to my colt 1911. Figured I wanted to try it with some hands, and found some old hands laying around that I had a quick shot at upgrading to some sort of presentable standard. So now my question to Polycount would be if you think those hands have any chance at being at least passable?
ALL done in maya? How did you model the rocks? o_O Here's some sorta old-school worn sci-fi doorpanel I'm working on. What kinda sucks is that as soon as I turn on the emissive map, the keypad looks all flat. Any advise on how to create a nice illuminatede keypad and don't lose all the normalmap detail?
It's pretty simple really. Just draw some random strokes with your Lasso-tool (like reallllly draw random shapes!) and then use various of layer settings with different texture brushes. Experiment your way forward - it's a superfun technique to just doodle around with : ) cmc444: @_@ ur boob-sculpting is superb! And here…

I got that itch again that I want to make a new base mesh. I sorta have out-grown my old one and I want to make some improvements from the things I have learned recently. Lookin for Lots of Feedback: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1668297#post1668297 Here is my progress from a couple nights of pushing and…
More of my usual crap. This was an old bust I started fiddling with in between other 3D stuffs. Its funny... I googled some pictures of Tommy Lee Jones for eye bag references, and now the whole thing kinda looks like him without me meaning to. Obviously the hair is all PS paintover along w/ some eye shadows & wetness.
Yeah its not really a process but cleaning up some of my old lazy. Parts of the model are smoothed in the stack twice, once by smoothing groups. This gives you great quick and dirty shape but can make angles a little sharp for the bake. I'll be dropping some of the subdivisions down a notch and replacing with edge loops if…
@ crazyfool Very nice work. He looks very familiar, were you going for a likeness? :) @r0xmys0x Very cool style on those sculpts. Like the old man a lot! @Swizzle Cool proportions and face looks great too! @FAT_CAP If that's just the block-out I can't wait to see the finished piece. :D @Dado Very fun character! :D Been…
