Everybody knows this guy, right? btw: this is a lame edit of a wonderful sculpture NOT done by me. just for ha-has, but I allways figured that guy was allways a fat, bald, greasy, green guy with no face. who's with me?
I'm still busy at my new home = lot of work inside. I have not the time for 3D to finish my Vincent Vega, just a little progres with textures and face's proportions....don't know , it's not so easy.
But fix that ugly seam in her face (by handpainting the normalmap in that area to a neutral level) I was too lazy to render the map again, you can get rid of that effect by including the adjacent faces into the mesh that's sent off to ORB, that way the normals of the mesh used for normalmap generation match the normals of…
hawken - Yeah after i rendered it i saw some errors in the cycle, i might come back to it when i have some time. Oh its simple fullbright, But for the outline i did that duplicate geometry trick when you group extrude a second model over it and cull the faces facing the camera leaving an outline. Vassago - Thanks man. I…
fuxer, get some kind of "shadows" into the game. That would really make it look ten times better.. made an other quick zbrush face. will tune this one and make a low polygonal version. same basemesh the caricature used

ok im at my room in spain and while waiting for the internet to get bang , i made this stuff...i might work a lil more on that mudbox face...ya... EDIT : its very speedy, and doesn make sense so ..
Made this last night in about an hour because I was sick of looking at my character texture. Didn't bother cleaning it up, there's an extra verticle subdivision in the energy cells and all the faces on the ground plane are still there. It was a lot of fun to make.
[ QUOTE ] No, I have no idea why he has blades around his neck. For keeping away flies, maybe? [/ QUOTE ] they obviously generate a force field to keep rocks and dirt from hitting him in the face, future goggles!
As soon as someone on these board mentioned that face tatoos are passe I've realised how often they are used (especially in commercial games). He was right, even though it suits the model it might be better with something different. (blame whoever said it, not me! )
