So I've been realizing I'm making all my textures pretty much by hand through zbrush, 3D Studio Max, and Photoshop. SO I thought I'd drop some of my old ones: And some of the new ones I've made recently. Critiques and suggestions are VERY welcomed.
@ jimsvanberg: Awesome painting! Zelda never gets old for me. Good work! <insert standard crosspost ramble here/> Finally and absolutely finished this thing. I will just put it into sketchfab or p3d to see how it works. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86Tp_F_9GvU"]tank turntable - YouTube[/ame]
soooo much work left, rebuilding the old model, almost from scratch, and while redoing it for the highpoly of the ingame version, i already do set it up to be printed, with an inside layout for wiring the rotors and positioning lights etc. to be powered by 2 AAA batteries takes sooo much longer :X
Jonas Ronnegard, love that texture! School assignment, old evil doctor! First time doing a character for real in zbrush so much is learning the different tools! Will doing some on the cloth and then put more detail in the face/hair. If you have some input, just PM would be nice to get feedback :)
Great stuff guys :) allways a joy to watch the daily progress. Wearing different hats - trying some animatin and particle stuff in maya for my new/old buildings. Here the research center - a active and idle animation. Images a original ingame size - so yeah - sadly very small - lots of detail got lost.. cheereo
started this way back when (almost 6 months ago), finally have a little bit of time up my sleeves before i go on holiday so I'm redoing some of the sculpt and retopo because I screwed up the hands pretty bad. here is the old retopo with nrm map. [SKETCHFAB]49r3H1gT6JeAXZNerNjCqK2pLjq[/SKETCHFAB]
Had a bit of an artistic brainworm - I loved the Old Interplay Star Trek Adventure games, and I wanted to see if I could match the art style, but in real time, and on Mobile. This is the result! http://www.hedfiles.net/STMobile/STMobile.html Obviously it could never go anywhere, but I really like the opportunity to push…
Here is my version of the Old Damaged Pillar from Eat 3D. Learning as much as I can so I can get caught up with you guys. You all are truly inspiring. Here is my model. 2,936 tri's and 3 2048x2048 textures Diffuse, Normal, and Spec. Thanks [SKETCHFAB]pq5Uo06iLBffRf06cPRgioEmyF5[/SKETCHFAB]
JeremyRM, Love that Frankie model, lighting a nice touch too This is an update on my environment, it's from the Monthly Noob Challenge 4 thread. I thought since they are starting the 6th challenge I should just put my updates in here rather than dig up that old thread. next up are the square bases directly under the camera
amazing stuff everyone :) Azkur - that wee beasties awesome Heres my twisted horror entry for zbrushcentral. everything made and rendered in zbrush (except the head which is an old base mesh, but zremeshed early on for better res) then composited in photoshop. Wish I had more time and wasn't dieing of flu haha!!!! Love…
