Still here ^^ Need to chip in some 20 min challange soon and post. Have made alot of new animations though I did for a school rts game ^^ Lots of angry orcs xP
mxdirector: I know it's a pain to find a rig you like and not be able to use it in your prefered program to animate. It's just how it is as you have understand already. It wouldnt hurt to learn a few basic things about rigging in maya, it does help a lot to get things moving by yourself. There are auto riggers in…
Someone should use this rig! I made the model and my girlfriend rigged it. Would love to see someone make a speed animation. http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/character-rigs/c/wilhelm-the-giraffe
Been a Max user Myself arm rigs easy to find but to be honest I think anyone here could model an arm and some hands even if there crappy low poly they can still be animated =D
Great plant animation, feels like it could fit right in there with little shop of horrors =D My python tool is almost there, just running into issues with IK Spline back making but should be getting there soon.
Where can I get game quality rigged characters from to practice animation with? This thread has really gripped me and made me want to try after a few years in being a document monkey!
Right? It's so good. I know dick about animation, but I'll provide feedback when I can. Most of the time I just lurk and admire the work here. Keep it up ladies and gents
This is indeed not about personal preference. On the other hand, it is much easier for an animator to switch to maya, rather than a rigger, and it proved to be hard to find a good 3ds max rigger, there are a lot more maya riggers... right?
how have i missed this thread?! :) Steve - the t-rex and four soldier guys are comedy gif gold! love it hahaha! heres a few little anims from myself.. sorry but they're on vimeo and chewyube mainly because i'm useless at giffing up - i'll try and sort my act out! simple hi speed parkour super acrobat sequence..…
Something I've started on, 2.5hours or so of solid work, rigs are different from what I'm used to, so have had some issues understanding them Found these awesome rigs at Animation Buffet that Steve mentioned!
