Thanks for making that topology GIF, its wonderful reference :D Can't wait to see where you'll take this. It'd be neat if you really pushed all that 'comicbook chisel' in his face, as well as the chunky manhands and knuckles!
She Hulk has always looked different depending on the artist. Here are some comicbook reference drawings: Red She Hulk (not Jen Walters, but good female muscle reference): She Hulk by Frank Cho: She Hulk by Juan Bobillo:
Daniel Craig quickie: And also, figured I'd sneak in some screen caps of the character I'm currently working on. Still rough and very WIP, it's based on Cobra, a character from the comicbook "Haunt".
heres texture start for my Cgchat pocket monster entry.. Wolverine-hulk-prehistoric-dirty-comicbook style... More brown, bluegray and decaying body part abit. FUN! The mesh is on my wip thread. here.: http://www.cgchat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26816 bebye
Mop: Aye, but as you get older you realise theres a finite amount of storage room. I for instance must sadly admit that my photographic recall of my 8k plus comicbook collection is taking up a lot of room I could be using for more useful information!
Whoa.... whoa. This is just beyond amazing. I need to pick this game up. You really nailed the Joker, he looks like the perfect blend of comicbook exaggeration and hyper-realism. And that hair! I want to see the wireframe, and maybe get some info on how you pulled it off!
Thanks for the great crits. I think your right about the face Smirnoffka. I made some major revisions on the face. Big mouth changes to try and make it more like the comicbook. And you guys are absolutley right about the nails that should be claws. I will have to change them.
I loved watching these as a kid, they always dragged you into the story like it should be. @almighty_gir: the series were never racist iirc, if you refer towards the comicbooks then you need to realize that the first ones were made around the 1930's.
This is going to be a character named Prophet. He's a comicbook character that Stephen Platt drew in the mid 90's. Im not going for quite as big of muscles as S.Platt did though. I hope to make this one a highpoly version to normal map. Still early but I thought I'd give a sneak peak. Comments and crits are appreciated as…
