Your aproaching this from more of a technical angle, which wont work. You need to learn how from an artistic standpoint first. I would try sculpting and drawing faces first memorize and break it donw into simpler shapes blahblah etc. -

I always activate the narrator by mistake cause my Y key is where everyone elses Z key is and sometimes i make two mistakes at the same time by pressing windows key + U instead of control + z/y and the damn thing pops up "LEFT CLICK PPPPOOOLYYYCOUNTDOTCOM BLAHBLAH" :/ -

thread needs more 3D ;D quickish Vivian, someone I always wanted to model So I don't really know how her hair should translate from Paper Mario to 3D and I realized I have to tuck her head way more into her hat to hide her eyes blahblah 550 tris but not optimized :) -

cheers, the low polys coming on, most of the base low rezed now, needs quite a bit of kleen-up going for rediculus specs on this one (so dont give me that, it would have to come down blahblah) probably gonna use a 2ksq map and hit the 20k tri mark. at 10k now (with tracks with are 5) shit just realised i left me harddrive… -

heh. yeah, i went over a lot of the stuff i had done for the shots, just not speciffics, ghost. Read my post? =) ) I worked on the blue dude, and i did the zombie. I did the giant skull decoration, all the sarcaphagi that scatter around the place, some wall carvings, the drum the npc is playing in town, the giant bridge… -

2. classOf $.baseobject == Editable_Poly can tell you if you're on a poly object, but in this case I think iterating through would be the best bet. Or if you're assuming there's only one you could always do if $.modifiers[#Edit_Poly] != undefined blahblah I guess. iterating through isnt too super slow though. 3. hmm what's… -
Omg a crate???
I did this for more texture practice. If you have seen my threads around here, this is what I am working hard and heavy on. I did this in about two days. 30 minutes on the model and the rest trying to create a good texture. I know the texture is mirrored on all sides, including the top, but the top looked weird flat shaded… -
