Great work guys. Will add comments soon, but these are great starts. I just blocked a kick in last night. Lots of work to do but the major actions seem solid. This is more of a "stylized" take on the kick than an accurate depiction of the style. Just having fun with it.
Hi ! Here is my Throne Room, Lizzie's Laboratory ! That was fun to do ! I used UE4, 3dsmax, photoshop, crazybump, zbrush. This is the atlas used for all the assets of the scene but the throne : The original concept art : I learned a lot during this contest, that was really cool !
I'd do it just for fun if I didn't have a million other things to do. You might try posting in unpaid work (unless you can pay?) and see if anyone is willing to lend their services. http://www.polycount.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=44
Quick update. Been having some fun crunching the low poly Got to try some baking and see how these meshes hold up. I actually rounded some of the screen corners already as they are too low poly right now baking soon
Thanks Greg :) Threw together a blockout: I realized that if I have a ground cutaway showing around the edges, it could provide me with even more fun. like a lake monster under the water, or a sleeping dragon in a cave beneath the mountains, etc. :D
@Lilith Thanks a lot for those motivating words. On the both picture, the lighting stayed the same, since it's basically just color, all the lights get absorbed. So, in the end I'm going to use pbr, but I'm a noob in that, so I'll have a lot of fun.
So cool! Congrats. Games in TV shows is a weird thing, but it's fun. Having my work appear in Breaking Bad was a highlight of my career. We were so hyped after the episode came out that late one night we hid this in the game
Just a couple small fixes before I start painting concept sheet, didn't like the angle of her spears before and fixed colors for portrait!! I'll be doing the works with her concept sheet before I dive into the illustration just for fun and all.
Submitted the final version to the workshop and the final submissions thread. Here's some poses I did today for fun. I'm feeling pretty happy about how it turned out, especially this being the first time I'm working with UDK. Thanks for all the support!
Me too. And I might finish it at some point. (: hopefully if a better shield idea comes along. I think that was my biggest problem with it. Franken tibbers and Annie is turning out really fun. Working on her proportions more and then I'll post an update.
