Okay took your advice, ive widened the hips, pushed in the abs a little and shortened the diameter of the arms aswell as making the shoulders a little smaller. only thing that really strikes out as not right is the head and neck. The hip still looks abit off aswell, will have to change that soon.
I'll post everything here, I did the best I can; Enjoy your day, and big big thanks to everybody that followed me! I'll definitely do more, follow me on my artstation to keep me on track: https://www.artstation.com/oxtonday See you soon!
Such a great work. It's very inspiring. I'd like to give you some constructive critique comments but it's so mind blowing to find something. Design, model, texture all great. I appreciate for your eye pleasing work. I'm looking forward to see the finished one soon.
Thanks Dreyzie! Awesome ideas, I'll be sure to implement them and post an update soon! I"ve been considering making something like an "objective" to draw the eye, so I think I'm going to mess with some of the props and construct something more coherent. Thanks again!
flat shaded textures on the ward, I'm not really sure what to do next with the textures, and it still seems off to me Also whenever I try to compile this dota crashes as soon as I hit import, works fine for weapons and everything though, anyone have any ideas?
We have since brought on two concept artists, two environment artists and one character artist. The previous posts have been updated to reflect our updated needs (one more character artist). We should have some art to showcase soon. Thanks for reading!
Step 1) Use a quality case that has filters over the intake ports. Step 2) canned air every once in while. If you ever have a crappy case and wait until something is wrong before cleaning it, throw it all out as soon as possible and do it right.
Thanks guys I dont have any of the texture sheets etc right now or wires. I could get some though soon. The reason I have so many Zeppelins is because this is a type of docking Pier/Airport. So they are circling and some are also patrolling as lookouts.
This thread is so awesome. I'm ashamed to say I used to be pretty judgemental but as soon as I started to actually use a variety of software I found that almost everything has things that it does better than everything else. I try to be as software/tool agnostic as possible nowadays.
thanks for the input. I haven't thrown a ton of detail into the model bacause I'm hoping to throw it into WH40K:Dawn of War. I'm thinking most of the details will be left to textures as it is an RTS and you rarely zoom in on the units, unless it's for screenshots etc.. I'll throw some texture shots up soon.
