Ged: Never used antialiasing, but the default Scene FX are a bit useless imo... A lot of them blur the entire scene and are hard to control - I've just stuck to "Star" for hilite glow. Maybe there's other downloadable ones somewhere, too lazy to look :)
First of all, the Magic tore the Celtics apart in last season's playoffs WITHOUT Jameer Nelson (arguably their best player). Now he is back and better than ever and they also have All-Star Vince Carter.... like I said NO CHANCE!
Folks, I can't believe it hasn't been said: Porno games. COMEON! :P Also, Star Wars: force push, force choke... BY DOING WHAT DARTH VADER DID?!?! A bunch of nay-sayers in here, use your imagination :P
Well done Megan. Good edgeflow. Try to have as few stars as possible. Also be sure to really shape up the lower detail as well as you can before working upwards. Since this is the based on the velociraptor, be sure to have lots of photo references.
wah? How did that happen? Must've been a typo. I was umm.. trying to ... type.. Axl Foley. yeah uhhh that't it. uhhh the shock value of axel foley just isn't there anymore. Now he's all fat and starring in all the roles.
Quick Low Poly E-11 Rifle from Star Wars. Still needs some love. I should really work more on 3D and post here, but school and work keeps me busy, and Left 4 Dead, must not forget that.
Well damn! That's fantastic. I was actually going to do a Star Wars scene set in tatooine. This will be good reference. Just curious, what was your process exactly? Did you block out and sculpt landscape in UDK? What was done in world builder?
What is the point of this? Shelve the models so we can see a new movie starring Jolie and Hopkins in 100 years? Why not just have real people in this movie? So incredibly stupid and excessive. We're in the 80's of CG here folks.
I saw the Passchendaele film last night which was about the Canadians role in WW1. Its well worth a watch, It stars the guy who was the mounty in Due South. I just wish someone would do a film about Stubby now.
I don't think anyone mentioned it, but the book Stop Starring by Jason Ospa covers using wrinkle maps for facial animation as well as some nice making and blending techniques for Maya. With a little work they're easily ported to Max and other apps.
