everything moose said about FFXII, i loved the combat system, it felt new, fresh... i loved the fact that they'd finally moved past random encounters and into a world where monsters lived and roamed and you could engage at will. When they moved back to random encounters in XIII i was so disappointed.
Handing someone a puzzle like this would be very very difficult to solve. A box filled with balls and sticks, the balls having somewhat random-looking holes, and the sticks being seemingly-random lengths. Even if you color coded them by height or something, it would be near impossible to piece together.
Still moving forward. I worked on the road/sidewalk today along with a few other random things like adding more decals to the boxes, adjusting the levels, adding a plant in the foreground, and a whole list of other random updates. Would love some C&C as I try and finish the project this week :) Thanks!
[ QUOTE ] Jet Set Radio Future Soundtrack My entire .mp3 collection on random. I seem to have a lot more Rush than I'd care to. [/ QUOTE ] My iTunes is on random, and Coheed and Cambria came up. Listen to some coheed and cambria if youre a fan of Rush (although none of us will admit it).
you should think about the cracks on the tiles. quite often something that will crack one tile will crack the one next to it too, and the cracks will look connected in a way (directionally). too many random cracks in random places all over the place looks just as bad as having too repetitive a pattern.
Is there a simple way to randomize the starting location on a singleplayer map? Or a workaround like teleporting the player to one of two locations at random? Also, could anyone tell me why a whole bunch of buttons have bunched up on the left of the screen? Its the row with the movement/flyby speed on, which is annoying.…
Just a question for those of you complaining about nade and tube spam, were you just going to random servers or to dedicated servers that you frequented? I never had that problem on the ones I frequented. I'm sure you're gonna experience it quite a bit with random servers set up.
If it's any help i didn't focus on accuracy or realism with my substance. I tried at first but really couln't figure out how to direct lines on the paths i wanted them to go. Instead i settled for a random greeble approach and then just tried to make it read as circuit board with the colors and the little random…
cool stuff yes I know I see things in my head that look awesome but when I sit in front of the monitor they seem to disappear so I end up finding forms in random shapes any way random and abstract drawings are very good to exercise composition keep up the good work
Yes. Its like the paint blob colours then applied a random jitter effect to them. In fact many textures look that way. In fact if it wasn't for the shadows being fucking awful, i think the game would look damn good, and could pass over the odd random texture that looks jittered. But those shadows... Jesus...
