Hey guys, Been trying out photogrammetry for a wile now but think its time to start posting some of my results. I have tried out both photoscan and reality capture, but find reality capture to be the best solution. For now I am sticking with stuff that I can scan in doors. Below is a quick overview of my setup. Its not…
Hello everyone, I've been experimenting photogrammetry, and here is one model I share with you: Youtube Vimeo Here is a sketchfab viewer, with half the precision: [SKETCHFAB]5faadf0a9dcb4a1392e907815de8d4e1[/SKETCHFAB] This small Cryengine demo features: -high definition mesh (321 291 polygons) -2x8192px textures (albedo,…
hey guys. it's my first post in polycount and my first scene with photogrammetry objects. i made them in photoscan and this scene is created in unreal engine 4 .i just wanted to share some pictures of it with you and if there is any hint or suggestion for me, i will be happy to hear that. you can see my other works in here…

I'm fairly new to photogrammetry, and I am curious as to how meshes which aren't visible and finished. For example, you have a boulder and you can see all sides except for the bottom. You take all pictures and make a mesh using Agisoft or whatever your preference. But what do you do about that bottom part which is now just…

I've been experimenting with Photogrammetry with my iPhone 12 and my biggest focus has been hard surface items. I have a two point light setup, and I suspend the item using fishing line. Unfortunately, there is always a lot of noise and I can barely use the fine grained details OR capture the hard lines of hard surface.
Hi! Been thinking of doing some photogrammetry again soon and i have something i'v always wondered how to do, and that is how to remove AO from your scanned object. This peaked my interest after seing the method Epic used on their kite scene a while back, where they briefly explained that they used 18% gray and chrome…
Hey guys/gals, I wanted to clean up an OBJ/FBX file that was from photogrammetry, now it's triangulated and very high poly so I'll rebuild the geo on top of it so it'll be quads. The major issue I have is baking the color information from the very high poly mesh to the low poly one I will create. Can anyone shed some light…
I did quite a nice photogrammetry with just an iphoneSE. Just more shots taken closer with 32 iso. Manual mode with Camera+ app and DNG file format output. Still it was quite limiting because of very narrow window for being able to shoot 32 iso and having enough ambient ,mostly cloudy illumination necessary for the…
