Wrote a document a while ago for my class: www.jacquechoi.com/ModellingRealtimeEyes.docx The images are very rough, and lame. I wanted to refine it, and add a quality example before posting it anywhere. Let me know if this helps.
hey olli, great work, especially on the normals. i was wondering if u ran into any issues with the bake? bc u have the front and backside overlayed, for example the mag. wouldnt that cause errors on the backside?
Things worked out beautifully, and thank you very much Jeffro for example this is how the animation came out. Looks best in Firefox, an Opera. The reel has been posted on "Pimping & Previews. Scott
Hello! Great program. One question.... After looking through the example PSD's that were created using NDO I have one question. Are the ambient occlusion maps in the diffuse created using NDO?
I was mainly using the diffuse , good example of conservative texturing ;p I'm wary of adding too much contrast into the diffuse and increasing repetition. I'm considering some subtle discolouration through the shader.
I think it could be good for you to have a look at some facial proportions. I notice that you have quite a large back head for example. Some good ones I can recommend:
I think what you want is decal projection mapping. Here's an example in the game Trackmania 2, skip to around 2:10 https://youtu.be/CkH5ECGgzig?list=PL5_4wSZ-XuFwIiouoaD2Pf_isVMFiBQdB&t=136
I LOVE the new music. Got a great southern feel to it. I like the twists on the old L4D music, for example the crescendo/horde intro bit is still the same, but played as a trumpet sound now.
Good example Mop. But don't you think that a person, that doesn't nessarily have to be to evil or to good (an average "mentaly healthy" human beeing) can turn to "good" person because religion inspired him.
last I heard they were referring to it as 'low' fantasy, which means all the crazy fantasy shit is in the game but it's not all super crazy obvious and cheesy. the example they gave was The Song of Ice and Fire series.
