We could do that. Just not sure if it's too much trouble for little gains or not. Example: 19-22 June = Theme Vote. 23-28 June = Concept Vote Feels like it's overkill for no reason.
Thanks for the advices the part of tweaking the normal vertex is briliant! The only part that i don't understand was the UV map, wih an example maybe i could get the right result!!! Thanx for the answer!!! J
Looks very nice and original. :) But the defuse is almost the same as the specular and that makes the weapon look very bland. You need to define the material more for example by making it darker in some spots and setting highlights.
What you're looking for is the break command. Example (not in maxscript) var num = 10;for (var i = 1; i<=100; i++) { trace("number: "+i); if (i == num) { break; }} Will print to 10 then stop.
@lutzbotOooh nice work. Have you been looking at Winslow Homer? Also the sky colors are striking, almost like image compression artifacts (for example). Intentional? This thread delivers. Great work people!
Its a little muddy, could have stronger lighting, more colors, a better green, and more points of visual interest. It is also very generic, it looks a lot like one of the example scenes in UDK.
Thanks for pointing me to this thread, this was a really impressive example! Once I get to it I'll start loosening edges and trying various bakes until I can get that right look. Good call.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9gk92jimvh4jkli/example.zip?dl=0 I've made an example scene of a piece of geometry that has the issue. Just click on the mesh "007" and render to texture. The scene was saved in max 2015.
Use the buttons on the bottom of the mesh paint dialog - toggle it to RGB for example. Then you can see the actual vertex colors in the editor viewport. Odds are that you aren't painting as strongly as you think you are.
Hi there , I update the ring ! The step is add more small props ( like the radio for example ) and also some pipe on the ceiling and some lights. Of course advice , comments , tips are welcoming :D Enjoy.
