I'm not working on a actual model from overwatch, but on my own design inspired by the overall style: http://polycount.com/discussion/161098/wheeled-combat-drone#latest The idea is that it should be one of the first Onic Combat drone, something like a "Dog Pet" for bastion. :)
I like your Darksiders inspired environment. I do think it probably needs more color or something. The majority of it being white/greyish makes it look unfinished. You will also need breakdown shots of your work, wireframe, texture flats, etc.
Hey Obscura! ;) Oh, Lonewolf´s stuff is awesome, his work inspired me. 5 am in Germany, time to go to sleep for now ^^ Will finish the normal after a bit of sleep! Thanks dude! Edit: And yeah, some Edges are to sharp. Will smooth them :)
Great Work, really well broken down and presented. You work flow is clear and detailed and the final result lighting especially is so close to the movie. One of my favorite scenes from it! Looking forward to some camera fly through. Inspiring Stuff
I remember following this guys thread over at conceptart.org ages ago... It was an inspiration to see someone change their skill so dramatically over time. Here's a link to it if you're curious: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php/870-Journey-of-an-Absolute-Rookie-Paintings-and-Sketches
Hi there! I would like to share yet another WIP of my Left4Dead-inspired creture that I just named after a Cryptopsy song "Detritus (The One They Kept)." Still, long way til I can say it's finished but it's getting there slowly but surely.
Looks great! Maybe you should look at some other references in order to provide some detail in the objects. You've got a great inspirational image for the composition, you could try now to look for other pictures to copy the style of ruined painting and stuff...
Wow, incredible work! This is really inspiring for someone like me that prefers to do texture and shader work over modeling. Were you responsible for any sculpting/unwrapping of the base mesh, or did you get to dig in once the high/low poly was done?
Amazing work, it is trully inspiring to follow all the progression and I am learning a lot with it. I really recommend one of the bests 3D sculpting artists, Frank Tzang: http://www.artstation.com/artwork/breaking-bad-fan-art-walter-white Well done
I just don't have the feel for handle on this sword... It's just somehow hard for me to picture it with a handle in my mind. That was the prob with blade until i got inspired.. I just need to get the moment i guess.. Ty for suggestion :) Always welcome
