While I was able to make individual polygons planar using @Funky Bunnies script, I couldn't get it to stay true as I continued through processing the other faces. It does a great job at making a given face planar to itself, or making a whole mesh planar to itself as a whole, or to an axis, but it really doesn't do a great… -

from my experience bad morale in the games industry comes from only a few areas: - inefficient processes causing lots of rework and overtime and continued problems - a lack of merit based, or evidence based, decision making These can both be the cause of each other. I agree with projectEagleeye that you should try to break your big goal down into smaller ones. After your done practicing uvs and texturing on this castle perhaps you can try building a series of small props. Maybe things that could go in the castle. Regardless, keep on going I'm sure we'd all like to continue seeing work… -

Yes I will indeed fix the textures as I continue to work, it wasn't a final render, will definitely get those flat areas. For the poly i was aiming to keep it pretty low as if it were to go into a game engine, but i see what you are talking about where to add them.
