Wow thanks for the link, i read through and could'nt find out how to delite the old model from the project.... but i went to send a screenshot to a friend to show him what was wrong and accidentaly clicked the button and it worked. Dude 3D is so strange... XD
damn, you guys put my shit to shame. On an interesting note, there's a "reload" button in the bottom right, which will redraw what you've done up until that point. But while it's redrawing, you can still click with the brush, which really fucks shit up.
The highpoly is looking good and clean but some areas of the clothes feel a bit unfinished. You could try and sculpt in more seams, stitches and puckering around all edges of leather, as well as buttons and wear and tear effects. The wrinkles you already have are looking great!
going to necro this to add what I was looking for when I stumbled across it. Small script to set multiple objects selected the smoothing level (3 button) to a value of your choice. string $sel[]=`ls -sl`; for ($each in $sel) { setAttr ($each+".smoothLevel") 2; }
In toolbag2 you can select your mesh and then change the tangent space type to match whatever you baked with (you mentioned max and xNormal, we support both of these). Select the appropriate one, and if the issue persists, then check the "flip y" button in the materials normalmap drawer.
OK dokie thank you so much :) i can make gui boxes button etc and by pressing escape loading level i have done it but i didn't know about the showMyGUIBOX and yeah that will help me out :) thank you so much
So, did you try the "Reconstruct Subdiv" button in Zbrush? Sometimes it will work, even if you have deleted all the lower division levels. Worth a shot, and should maintain flow, if it works. It's right there with all the other division-related things. Right near "Divide"
Yeah the proportions are off. Everything from the belly button down looks not toned. The neck also lends to the overweight look as there are no lines of definition. The Overwatch style is characterized in part by harder angles than reality and to that effect I only see that in your collar bone and ribs.
Reset Xform, then re-export? Resolution is controlled in your video card setup, somewhere in Max's Preferences (sorry don't have Max here now). There's an option in the DirectX dialog named something like "Nearest Resolution" next to radio buttons for 256, 512, etc.
Skin or die is moving towards what I think the interface needs... I would love a springclean of the skin gui personally. I mean, how many times do you have to click the wrong remove button when trying to knock out an envelope.
