No, none of those pics above have been modified like that. But injecting new textures into n64/gamecube/wii games is possible. Here's some examples of what you're talking about: before: after: before: after:
Begun making the armour. Gonna smooth out the muscles a bit. The Isolate Selected option is quite useful when you need to see exactly what you're modifying, which means less ctrl+z and reloads.
Seconding the modeling technique - I make a cone and then duplicate it a bunch, use soft selection or a lattice to modify the objects as a group. There aren't that many individual eyelashes, so placing them didn't seem like that big a deal.
Here's a shot of EQ's boss little vespa model lit by light probes and the Marmoset Unity shader. I've made a UI that modifies the Beast settings xml file and adds an HDR sky to its GI rendering.
Some details are set by default i think, you can't remove them, like the screws in the AWP when trying to make a custom paint job, those areas can't be modified unless using another "method".
Thanks for dispensing your biped wisdom Mark, appreciated! :) BonesPro can convert to the Skin modifier which is nice. The other features won't be needed, I hope... Memory - Junkers is lost in deep space I'm afraid :(
Is your viewport set to DirectX? If not it should be. Modifier is required to make the 3p shader work flawlessly. Check to see if you have the right one for your version of Max, and it's in your \plugins folder, and you've restarted Max.
may be related to old max version. but yes this happens, undo is not perfect. especialy with applying certain modifiers, there is no way back. so save often :D some stuff undo does is not fixed as easily as broken normals.
Don't think so, the unwrap modifier will probably have a check against creating degenerate faces (degenerate faces are those where one vert is used repeatedly, such as the top/bottom 2-vert faces of max teapot).
Thank you for your answer. I did as you described, but it made no change. ó_ò Either with the TS collapsed or Mesh select or/and Edit Poly modifier on it. I'm really wondering why this happen. Thank you for the try!
