Hello all -- new to Polycount, but thought I might as well show off some stuff here. I graduated Laguna College of Art and Design in 2015 and interned at Disney Interactive. I'm currently trying to find a full-time gig, but in between that, I'm freelancing. Not the most glorious of work, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed…
Looking good, the face totally looks like Sam Wilson to me. I agree with what Darklord3d said, polishing up those proportions and details will help. I think the mask, googles, and wings could use a little more geometry and sculpting detail since they're the iconic parts of his costume. The skin and hair look like they're…
Texture's at about 80% guys! I will spend my free time of this week just to polish the remaining unfinished parts, then posing, post production for beauti shots, some 2D effects maybe LOL
Wow, this last shot! Can you share your process for this part please? Looks neat, I usually do retopo + crease but this looks a lot cleaner.. Waiting for more anyway, awesome work!

Concept art isnt about rendering quality but rather a medium to share your ideas with others and do it very fast. IMHO painting quality concept art is wasted resource, the polishing part could be spent on alternate designs etc.
A big part of this project was me working out some new ways of dealing with materials. Here's a material blending function I made, with a twist -- there's a transition period that has its own normal map, derived from a blending/height map. https://youtu.be/9vdl8v48hJU
I started with coloring caracters. Dark lux will be turned into shadow after im done with her. Ill finish characters 1st then ill keep on gackground. Last part will be the effects that ill be doing for 1st time inmy life so they will probably wuin everything but lul
It does look a bit off now that I look closer at it. I'll definitely still be messing around with it. The idea is she's escaping an enemy and her passive is going off so I'm going to have parts of her slowly fading/going invisible. Thanks for the comment! :)
