Somehow managed to retopo and texture this model, but some parts like the clothing started clipping when i posed her in blender. :P So i had to remove some details. Rendered in Marmoset.
Looks like a problem with normals. You can see the indentation at the upper part also shading weirdly. You need to reset your normals, don't know how this tool/option is called in Maya.
Hey all, had a bunch of stuff come up at once but I finally got to this big guy and wanted to post an update with my buddy. I fixed up the knees and really redid big parts of it within Maya, as well as touched up the silhouette and proportions. Feel free to lay on the critiques guys!
As others have said, most artists have anxiety/depression or both, it just seems to be a part of being an artist. I don't think you should treat it any differently than "regular" anxiety though, visit a doctor and read about what you can do. There is no guaranteed cure unfortunately, but certain medication can help…

what if instead of the bullets on the belt you use piano keys? the shoulder piece is a little out of place too, maybe you can replace it with something made by robotic parts from the enemies in Transistor. Also I'm interested to see how you will make the broken sword
today's progress: Gauntlet I was super icky about the design at first, but once I got the seams in the leather part it came out ok. Still icky tho. Unsure.
@slosh - I think I'm going for the Tristana splash art, in terms of proportions. I might still be a bit off though. I made her head, hands and feet a bit bigger. And I should start blocking out the hammer and shield, since it's kind of a big part of the read. ze update:
