graves is a coooool boy . Excuse me once more time and last time You know that I'm fan of Your work as "Solid Snake , Raiden or .....or ....Milla Jojovich from 5th elements." Go on - get her into Q 4 .
I should mention that only this character will be on the screen. Maybe a room with some elements or a simple plane on which the character can walk. This should only be a demonstration, how the designed, modeled, rigged and animated char could be implemented on both systems.
Thanks for the feedback, I've been spending a bunch of time working on the organic forms so hopefully there's some improvement. Just to clarify, this is fan art but I've been mixing some elements from different versions of the same character. Here are today's renders anyway.
2016 is the one that got worse with Service Packs, memory leaks, and instability. There are a couple of Unwrap UVW bugs in 2017, but it's pretty stable overall. The unwrap bugs are 1. Select Overlapping Polygons is not working. 2. Peel Mode moves unselected UV elements.
Excellent work. This scene will be stunning by June. I really do like the period setting. More elements to fill the street such as newspaper stands would look good or some streamliner cars http://www.newyorkshitty.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/blauners.jpg
coldhands, which areas of the body stand out to you as the most rock like, is it that some elements protrude too far or what ? to me the butt area looks the most 'metallic' so maybe its more about having less pronounced protrusions ?
Mmmm I want it to make the walls and floor simple to highlight the other elements like the plants and the colored lights, but maybe I was too simple  I'll try to add a little bit of variation, maybe some moss, sand, little rocks...
Well, we got Flatiron to work! It's a pretty nice little baker. We're able to bake all the V-Ray render elements. Now just need to figure out how to combine them to make glTF compliant maps. Easy, right?
Looks great man! Nice concept. I like the way the artist has incorporated so many elements without it becoming too confusing to look at. The low poly you made is a real ripper. Look forward to seeing what happens next.
Hi Amile, Thank you for your feedback. The nose was a design choice to emphasise it a bit. When/if continuing this speed sculpt, I will probably use the pinch brush more to get a similar feel to other elements of the character (Ie.Hands, ears and detailing) Ras
