Started on a new character project, Oni-chan, Shuten Douji! Took a break from the usual hard surface stuff for this time, it's nice to do character once a while ~ Been working on it since ZBrush Summit few weeks ago, so many nice character presentation makes me wanted to start my own :D So here's the progress I've got so…
On a normal day I work 6am-3pm, like Swizz pointed out, its a job and they pay me for 8hrs a day and that's what they get, sometimes a little more. I don't try to turn work into a social hang out. Work isn't jr high and I'm not getting paid to socialize and make friends, I can still have fun but work is job number one.…
I'm a fan of the black version, personally, looks very 'bee'/'honey' like. The fire texture looks cool but I think you could make it even more obvious. This is Borderlands! Everything is bigger and better, you can get away with exaggerating it a bit more ;)
"What's the atmosphere like?" I can only talk about the studios I've been to which now is up to three. In essence they were relaxed but it was also dependent on what state the project was in. It's always a little bit awkward being the new guy in the art-team, if nobody else does the first-move and greet you properly you…
(bump because I deleted old work) Do any of you guys have suggestions on fun programs? I got Alchemist which I've already had a lot of fun with. and please feel free to make any crits you wants :P
The model that has all the special effects added to it were just for fun, i dont really think it would be able to print in 3D? but regardless this is my submission and I had alot of fun working on this!!!! :D https://imgur.com/XiBaeM4 https://imgur.com/Kwl3zA1
Sounds like "rat race" to me. Where is the fun part? Is art only "being better than others?" and working in "the industry" if you doing thing what make you fun you don't have problems with procrastination ;) But this is only my subiective opinion...
after playing a bit more, discovering the Missions to get more points, and generally getting better i started getting sucked in... not because it was fun, but because i wanted to level :) moderately fun games, but 80% of them were 1:4 blue:red balanced
I just read it has no Spec Ops mode :( This makes me sad... Spec Ops was amazing fun in MW2... I mean yeah, we get zombies instead, so its not a total loss but still... SP Coop missions were fun :(
I had a little fun with it, everyone's texture is coming out great show some orthos in the final so we can get teh full effects of your lovely textures. I don't know if I will continue this it was mostly just fun & boredom.
