Looks like z-fighting. Do you have some distance between those flickering polygons? Maybe scaling the object up or down could fix it. -

Pac_187: playing with the scale finally fixed it, though i had to scale it down to 1/20th of it's original size to eliminate most of the flickering.. cheers! -

The GPU may have been worse, but doesn't the backbuffer support actually make things a much more flicker-free & less glitchy experience? -

Odd. I checked that part and it flickered quite a bit. After zooming in the cage looked fine. I made the cage by applying a z transform of 0.05. Is zyransform unreliable? -
