Excellent trailer:) The story is presented reminds me a lot of the Birthright story arc from back in 2000, sans Lex, especially all the craziness at the end. Very excited:)
Generally, if someone indents the eyes on a sculpt it is to indicate where the iris/pupil would go on the final. For a game model there is no need to retopo or include any geometry that won't be visible.
Along this same line of question, if someone could point me in a direction of more references such as the below image it would be a great help. Or even if there is an IRL engine that looks similar to it.
Juergen Timm - The "r" in my first name is silent - spoken like juegen. Family name is pretty old german, comes in some variations and means carpenter iirc.
pior - IIRC a modded 360 can use regular hard drives, instead of paying a ridiculous $150 for 120gb. Though imo that's not worth being banned over, hah.
It's quite simple (From their standpoint): Whenever someone sees something of theirs for free, it means that they lost a sale ;) Thats how it is, in that little mmorpg-vs-irl world they live in. :)
Speetree is packing its textures in a way that can be read automatically by speedtree materials inside Unreal. Roughness/glossiness is in the alpha channel of the normal map. AO is baked into vertex color IIRC.
