I am new to 3D modelling and I'm looking for some expert advice. I'm going through the process of deciding what software I should learn to use and incorporate into a complete 3D modelling work-flow. I want to be able to build props, texture them with realistic PBR materials, and import them into a game engine such as Unity…
If you haven't upgraded to v$, I'd recommend it. The Paint Room hasn't changed drastically, but there have been some very nice improvements, and I like the new interface.
Really nice, I use a similar interface as yours. With just the orange changed to the bright blue. I've been looking to make it over my zbrush UI as well.
Download this http://www.mariussilaghi.com/macros/Quad%20Chamfer%20Modifier.mcr and drag and drop it into the 3ds max viewport. Now go to customize user interface and look for the category named "Marius".
Valid, but there are also options where some form of hyperspace/subspace comes into play, and then you could potentially remove that factor depending on what the interface between dimensions is like.
we are in business, still have to revert to direct 3d for the interface to work, I have no idea why it is now working but as long as it is i tend not to question these things :D
This came out of bloody nowhere! Looks really great, and it looks like you've put a lot of thought into the gameplay interface. Mucho kudos for that. Editor looks fantastic, too.
musashidan Thanks again, i'm finished rendering and it looks gorgeous and the interface is so better, like tops better. that was a very good deed you did there. Thanks :D
drag and drop the script to your max viewport and then go to customize \ customize user interface. In the category choose Pedro Scripts and then assign smart create to letter C and save.
