SciFi Shotgun (WIP)
hey, I am working on my first hi-poly gun, hopefully it will be good enough to put on my portfolio. I am working from this concept by PencilLad and I hope to have it as a full working prop. right now I only have about half of the high poly done but any comments would be welcome. -

Pencilsword ran a strip on something similar to this. Replace money, with connections and you've got the analogy. Connections open doors, portfolio keeps them open. -

@Jordan, No no no, you are confusing what I said, I was saying look at what he does...and apply it to your work. Working in a greyscale manner is not a bad thing at all. For a artist like Pencilninja, it could/would help him understand value, and depth. That is all I am saying...take bits and pieces from the Adi Granov… -

@Angry Beaver I have been doing a lot of rough sketches and painting practices.I think 3d works faster and efficiently if u have more than one person on the team. @Deadly Nightshade Wow..that looks great but I am trying out pencil.Ita a free app and has great potential. -

I use a very similar app on my phone called PencilBox. http://www.mentalmotions.com/showpage.php?page=pencilbox It works pretty damn well actually. Of course you cant get very detailed, but when I have an amazing idea out of nowhere its nice to bust it out and sketch it down.
