Ack, I keep forgetting half of the stuff that's in there. People keep talking up the old interface, but let's be honest here, it's a mess of abbreviated buttons.
Wow....Aparently it was just hidden in the tool pallet. Generaly appeared on the tool pallet on the right of the interface, But it someone was only visible from the expanded viewer -_-.
Well, Dynamesh was THE reason that I migrated from Mudbox to Zbrush. That alone was more than enough for me to tackle the seemingly unintuitive interface at first.
There are some pelt mapping plugins for Maya for download. Here's one I use: http://sunitparekh.com/pelting/ Interface is a little wonky, but it does the job.
This looks slick as shit, mainly because it's now built in to such a mainstream product. The 3d interface is a little clunky and performance is horrible but a great first step.
