I played around a bit with Maya Vector. Man, that's some grumpy old tech. Lighting acts weird as hell if you try to have more than one light source, and it seems to only work with point lights. So weird.

Pardon if a tech-artist posts non-technical work :) Started working on this recently in my spare time. Will be improving the ammo-feed layout, and changing the wheel design, etc. Will eventually be some form of little bot/AI controlled drone. Comments and suggestions appreciated :)
Jesus, these low poly but normal mapped models really show how awesome the tech is, I had to look at Fred2303's a few times and if it wasn't for the head I don't think I would even CARE it wasn't a 60k poly mesh... Love it.
Working more on my Quake 2 (id tech 2) powered engine update. Gun model/player models by own3r, rest by myself, lots of foliage/effects missing, so it may look a bit sparse and underdetailed in places. All 100% in-game with zero editing in photoshop of course:
Looks great so far, looking forward to the tut. I'm working on a HP Mobile SAM Launcher, not sure if I'll make it game rez but for now I'm still working on the body. It's heavily influenced by the Canadian ADATS vehicle but I'll be adding some fringe tech to it after it's completed. Here's what it looks like so far:

Damn, I'm going to have to bother fightpunch to let me build out one of his designs sometime. Sweet work man. I'm working on a hand painted no normal map character, a mystics meets tech type thing. No concept, just letting pixels dictate the direction. I want to do some sort of energy matter swirling "hair" on it.
