You guys are awesome Here's what I'm working on Colour scheme is shit right now, just learned about assigning materials to each subtool so did a quick test
Made a cross for a school assignment, for a game called GRIM FATE. Pretty fun. Not much to look at yet, though. But I do like how this came out, no matter how simple it may be.
Just finished this weeks school assignment, kinda satisfied with the result concidering we only got one week and we are just 3 months into the education :) Its not my own concept so I dont take any credit for that :) :)
So, this time roughly marks my first year with working in 3D. This time last year I opened Maya for the first time. Never posted in this thread before, but here's a semi-done piece I worked on as an assignment for school.
Think I'm going to go the "Mystical Standing Stones" route, if only because it's for a school assignment due Thursday. Still a LOT to do until then. Feedback is appreciated! [edit: Wow, the grass makes the Stones look fairly small. I'll sort that out!]
@Millenia actually the trigger/barrel/mag release is the last high poly geo which hasnt had uv space assigned so I will make sure that they are a lower res once I put them on the texure maps :) nice guns btw ^^
Maschinenkrieger Mech with female pilot (or half of one, rather) School assignment, not much time, high poly Subd just about finished, now to sculpt a couple of the pieces. :) At some point they'll strike a pose- for now, it has her arms sticking through everything ;)
My first try on normal maps and specular maps, my 4th object. Assignment was max 300o tris and 1025 diffuse, specular and normal maps. Build a prop for a FPS from a real life reference. No fancy filtering and maximum 3 dynamic lights. I'm pretty satisfied:
Nearly done with this school assignment, can't customize it to much since it has to be based on a real wall that is located around town (savannah, GA). Wish I had chosen a more interesting wall now that this is complete. edit: didn't like the previous renders I put up so I changed them
