Awesome work, man! I wonder if it would be possible to get some variation in the amount and color of the bloom from the lit windows? Looks great though.
Crossposting from my thread: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1658560#post1658560 Rainy temple scene I've been working on :): Warning, huge amount of blur:
Gir gotta second praetus' comment, her eyes are really big and as a result of that too close together by a noticeable amount, the width between the eyes should be the same width of an eye.
Updated my folio with my "latest" project. An arttest that never got around to be assessed by the company. I was hired by Avalanche before that :) Huge amount of breakdowns on my site. http://nyhlen.tumblr.com/
I'm testing whether it's feasible to do a beard with alpha-to-coverage. So far... I think the moustache at least needs a fancier alpha. Also, I finally found a use for Marmoset's ridiculous amounts of bloom!
Struggling to see this through to the end due to massive amounts of crunchy-crunch. Based on a Warhammer dish but I stripped out some of the cheese (spikes) and made some changes to the back end. Needs an unsharpen and some zbrush love before bake.
out of curiosity...how many polies/verts are there in that ONE piece? :3...from my view it looks like u needed MASSIVE amounts of sides and whatnot to keep the geometry which looks like it could kill some computers :PP
@papagersi- masterfully done dude. fookin ace. i absollutely love the amount of detail on this guys form and his expression is great. i do think however that the noise on the front of the shield is a bit distracting and pixelated in comparison. keep up the dopeness!!
Did this character to test out a technique for making hair quickly. Entire hair cut took just 40mins instead of the normal stupid amount of hours it takes me to get alpha planes looking ok. Step by step mini tut thing....
