Here's Formula One car I've been working on in any time I have to spare :P[Very Ferrari F150 inspired] I still have a lot of elements to add such as some wings on the body, the body itself and the rear axle/suspension. C&C if you can!
Dont want to start spamming the thread so gonna avoid updates until its actually at a point where I have some decent progress, just about finished the mid-level details for most of the model, gonna begin working on the higher details and Sub-D elements next.
Work in progress shots of my Alien esque scene I'm doing to find work with. The scene will have an animated siren light, hence the two shots. Still getting a lot of elements down but wanted to show it. Taken from Maya's view port with some Photoshop post processing. Will probably get it into UDK.
ZacD - Thanks for the comment. I'll try to push those elements further. This is going into a unity/Ipad game... so I'll see how much I can work it before hitting shader limitations. Bengi - Definitely bookmarked that. I'll have to sit down with a cup of tea and dig through that :D Thanks for the link!
Received some good feedback from fellow polycounter's that my folio needed an outdoor scene so I went to work :D. Loosely based on a concept from Robin Olausson and other elements I made. The nano effect is inspired from Jeremy Baldwin from Vertex, and I thank them very much for such a cool effect!
@pogop, starting to look great dude, the materials could do with being defined better (most on the scooter), but thats down to whether you're going for a realistic style (which CE3 is more suited for) or a more stylised route. That being said, you've chosen a great environment to create in the engine as you've made use of…
Just finished our first app, my husband and I. It's a vocabulary training program. I did the UI, all graphic elements, and the photo for the app store banner. The app is totally free, and if you add all your own vocabulary it remains free. However dictionaries of common languages can be bought for 1 euro.…
I love this! here are some levels for a 2d game I made: and some elemental .. ballz :] The guy who wanted those never paid, but still - i made something i never made before :) And two images just for fun: PS: I just made myself a blog! :) http://tomankirilov.blogspot.com/ PSS: i just saw i missed a "k" in "PINK ROCKS" :D
much better crit you could also say something like the ladder seems out of place now maybe introduce a few more scale elements like tools mounted on the outside of the vehicle or compartments like on the outside of fire trucks ect. examples never hurt. the forum is typically pretty blunt, as you have seen by our crits of…
Here's some new alpha footage for the prototype i'm working on. The gameplay is heavily inspired by Geometry Wars and waves (I've always loved top down arcade shooters). The game looks like an arena shooter now because i haven't gotten to the puzzle elements, but the final game won't be.…
