@Ghostscape yeah don't worry about any of the materials or anything, I just need a direction to go with in terms of color. I really like the part in the back with the three holes, how it has the color around it. I think that works very well.
that's kind of a sickly yellow, I'd move it a bit more towards orange/red, right now it's got some blue/green in it. I'd do the fatter, more angled caution stripes that seven used versus yours, but I like your most recent color comp (probably cuz it's based on mine :D)

Hazard stripes are totally 40k - so are chainswords, so I support this :) I'd go with something like that but this definitely could use some wear and tear.
