I know I've pirated titles that didn't provide demos. If I liked it, I purchased it. If not, I deleted it. Wrong or not in other people's eyes, not really concerned.
Does this really matter? The people who are going to download this would pirate the final game anyway, so it's not really lost sales is it? Most games are leaked and on pirate sites a few weeks before they come out anyway - its a fact of life. With so many people working in the production line getting boxes stuffed with…
PC games shouldn't NEED a solid multilayer to prevent people from pirating, there's a reason why a lot of previously pc-exclusive developers starting to focus on consoles first.
http://torrentfreak.com/crysis-2-leak-fails-to-result-in-massive-download-fest-110213/ Dunno if this was posted, either way kinda interesting. As far as pirating this goes though I doubt it'll have a huge effect on sales. It's for three separate platforms, and for the most part, the people who would download this, are the…
Well I'm sure the designers got paid already, then they leaked it... because they already got paid. Its still funny how most people here instantly go into a state of "supr furious" while they have probably pirated something or another in their life. It was going to get pirated anyway, it's just like an early release…

Unfortunate, but not surprising. While I'm against the idea of pirating I can't help but wonder why something being leaked before it's intended release date is still considered shocking. Again, pirating is contemptible, but I personally can't think of anything that can't be pirated or hasn't been leaked early these days, I…
It was always going to get pirated it. Early or not. Those who were going to bootleg it, are going to bootleg it. Those who always planned on buying it, are still going to buy it. Move along, nothing to see here.
i pirated the first Crysis and loved it, bought a retail copy before finishing the campaign. i also bought a second copy and after losing the 1st. im 100% going to buy Crysis 2 and this is pretty tempting... is it wrong?
This is really disgusting, I hope people who download it's pc melts, seriously! Pc games are so cheap nowadays theres almost no excuse for it. As for the leak it could easily be a hacker, I remember hearing some guy doing the same to halo 2, hacking into their server and downloading the whole product. if it's an in house…
