Slow progress is rather quite obviously slow. slit caused by symetry modifier. will fix later. You won't believe how much trouble that "simple" langing gear gave me, as i insisted on having it as one nicely turbosmooth-able piece, and that i'm still learning the ropes, ladders, snakes (<- especially those) of subdevision…
could you imagine porting the whole thing to WebGL? Java is a massive slow-down for me :( It looks like a set of really cool features already though - Good work!
mystichobo: Cheers mate. Have to agree that stretching it out would help, but it would work against game mechanics/looks. Because at the moment its small, manageable size so its doesn't take loads of screen space while its details are still visible. At the moment my intention is that the zeppelin itself is slow, but the…
First time poster to the WAYWO, very excited! Robot character for a Unity game. This is my first time character modelling in a current gen workflow, so its slow-going, but I'm learning a lot

Currently I'm working on a back alley in Brooklyn for a level class. Thought I'd get it out there and see what a fresh pair of eyes can advise Still pretty slow at posting things online, forgive the awkwardness.
Dammit Chai ^ So freaking good! Sooo yeah, just finished Glints UV~ (uni work is a bugger to keep up with so progress was slow) Ill resurrect the thread once Ive baked the high poly down ;)
Awesome work guys! @Maph I put it on an old model for fun. Should've been a lot better but it looks like Max 2012 decided that uv mapping is for chumps and slows down to a freeze everytime I move a vertex.
Eh, why does it matter what programming language it uses? It's rendered using lightweight java game library, which uses opengl. And besides, java virtual machine isn't what you'd call "slow" these days :P
