maybe you could test with a strong backlight, and some wax effect to kill that cold shader skin, ( plus I suggest integration tweak for the hair eyes & hat on the skin ; p ) very impressive sculpt, congratz men !
I think this is the first real post I've made on these forums. Got tired of lurking and figured I'd finally throw my hat in and learn something. I realize there are flaws in the anatomy and probably the topology. Might make a thread for it later.
Getting some lowpoly done. This is all made from a mudbox basemesh by the way. Gonna slap that long "slash" hair onto him, the wide-brimmed hat, the cape and probably make the sword. More armor detail is to be sub-d modeled.
Never got to finish this dude for Brawl, but I'm still working on him when I get a little time here and there. Still working on the hardsurface before I go back into Z and finish sculpting his face and then do the limbs and hat.
Suburbbum, the face kinda reminds me of Edward James Olmos but that hats gotta go man, is scary stuff. gir, very cool, he looks like he's about to have a good meal :) cross-post-acular fr wip thread:
@ Nick: YEP you are full of win sauce :poly142: @ rv_el: AWESOME. I really like him without the hat. I am digging the squiddy too. Are those renders out of Z-Brush? Either way I love it Great work mr :) Finally going to call this one done. ABOUT BLOODY TIME TOO!
This thread is always pure sex! Killed a few birds with one model, tested out the new xoliul2 for myself, finished the diffuse for this (still need spec) and made an English Patient reference. I believe that's called a hat trick. I'll knock the textures down to 512 when I finish. Poly counts 170 right now.
Hey All This is my first post here and it's about my first post on Steam Workshop. I've submitted "The Grand Poobah!" as a hat for all classes for TF2. Heavy Shown Let me know what you think on Polycount and on Steam Workshop as well: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=510 Hopefully the link will…
Damn Ferg, the fact that wou managed to do all those zketches before Dynamesh and still don't need it to make awesome art is baffling, much kudos. How do you go about starting something like this? Love the model, the texture not so much. Could use a bit of saturation and detail. The yellow parts especially, construction…
Thanks guys, appreciate it :D G_I_B_B_O_N - Youre completely right, they were way more visible before I added an expression to her face. I will remedy that asap. felipefrango - Awesome expressions. Ooooozing character. Kot_Leopold - I put together a little gif of how I do the little more complex pieces whenever I sculpt.…
