Made a tileable brick texture today for a level I'm working on that was in need of it so here it is 25min sculpt Turned into this Time to work on the diffuse
I would personally add some green and brown in there. For example the gaps between the bricks look like there is something missing. Asside from that I think they look awesome :)
Looks promising, although I think it looks a bit noisy, lots of bricks everywhere. Try adding depth fog, IMHO it could help the foreground elements pop out of the background.
Practising doing some texture maps tiled brick, diffusemap, normlmap, specularmap. (Is it only me or do the attached image lose quality?):poly121: Edit: Added better image instead of the attachment.
Those bricks are coming along nicely mate! What brushes are you using? I made some progress on my airship. Did the bumper today. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1391413#post1391413
Sephez - awesome stuff, I love the stylisation and the texture work is great. Nice variants too - I like the design you have right now, but you could incorporate the bracelets and other accessories from the concepts to make it more visually interesting. eY3lEs5 - looking great. I think the bricks are disproportionally…
itismario - I'm loving the entire style, very awesome, but the composition and addition of the little wall is killing the character, I think it needs a hue change, or maybe to be darkened a bit, so the character stands out and doesn't fight for attention with... bricks. Too busy the way it is.
ruz: that's pretty clean work seforin: great edges on those stairs, maybe the bricks could use a little more colorvariation or something to break it up a bit. Mgrecke: very nice style, i really like the expressions ^^ another update on my Mutant League entry
