First real high poly model not in zbrush, made for a school assignment, pretty pleased with it (just need to work on a high poly render scene, excuse the gross brown colour).
An assignment at school, making a FPS weapon with 3000 tris. I'm happy with the result, although there's always room for improvement. I did what I could with the one week we had.
So first time posting here, minus a bugged post from a while ago, but I've been working on this for a class assignment for a few weeks now and I'm looking for some feedback, on both the high poly model and the render quality. Any advice would be appreciated :)
One of the scenes I'm working on for graduation portfolio assignment. Polycount feedback has been helping me push the quality more and more. Can follow how It's been going from here, feedback greatly welcomed! http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81590&highlight=shady
Some things you may want to try: - clearly define the borders of the wood. Yours looks very splintered at the edges. - Don't stress the detail pass so much. There's too much going on. - Use deep and dark colors for the spaces inbetween the planks themselves. - When you're happy with it, make some variations of the same…
First time I have ever posted in here :) some absolutely amazing stuff guys. This is a Western scene I have been working on for quite a while, I know there are quite a few areas that need improving but I have handed the assignment in now, but I will be coming back to it as soon as I have completed another project :) to…
guys dont draw dicks on this guy plz? k tank-u About 2-3 hours in so far. Decided to do waist up for my next character texturing assignment, we were given models to texture but that's too easy (and the model is kinda garbagey) Thinking of possibly adding horns or hair or something mebe. He gonna have pointy nails too~
papagersi: awesome face, man! Razgriz: thats badass! Oniram: those colors are super I was working on an assignment for my sculpting class a few weeks ago but I don't think I'll have time to hollow/fire/paint it or whatever so I thought I'd slap some quick colors onto a photo and see what people thought. (candy eyes? lol)
@Razorb I like them all. :} But if I had to choose, I feel like 02, 06, and 17 work really well. They feel pretty solid and I really enjoy the prominent curvy parts in 02 and 06 that break up the silhouette. So I've been doing mostly high poly lately for class assignments. :D Still WIPs except the lantern head.
