Ugh, they pre-set my settings to ultra and I get horrible fps... I knew this would happen -.- new games are so risky because im not always sure my hardware will perform. I can get 70 fps in most games but in some I don't break 20.
I kinda gave up on companions now... Lydia died on me after 20 minutes by a trap, then at a much later point I enlisted J'Zargo from the Winterhold College, I exit the Hall of Atainment; some blood dragon spawns in the college courtyard and burns the damn cat to a crisp. That was a bit of a bummer. :)
I've got about 20+ hours in so far. And... I'm completely blown away. I'm starting to think this game is as good as... Morrowind. Some aspects are even better. Combat, for example, is refreshingly good. What I love most is the variation in the land, and how Bethesda managed to bring back the Mysterious feel you had in…
You need to realize that there are some enemies out there who are way too high level for you to kill. Some of them being level 25-35+. If you have Orcish gear, I take it you're probably around level 15-20, which means you're not fit to face a lot of enemies out there. Level up, go back and kill them later. That's something…
25,000 Septims for a shitty house in Solitude? I might go buy a house somewhere... I've got 50,000 gold right now and nothing to spend it on. I'm thinking of just not looting most things anymore because it's annoying having to go sell all of this shit to about 5 different vendors because they only have 1,500 gold. I've got…
True, but you had the option to tackle anything, in any manner wished and at any time. Same cannot be said of many other games. I'm not expecting to go at lvl 1 against the final boss, but spoon feeding me stuff which I had grasped ages ago, when I'm 20 levels above the mini boss infront of me, in what amounts me having to…
I think I did that three necklace thing you're talking about. It was quite fancy. Also I agree with you about Smithing Habboi. I'm going to intentionally avoid it next time I play so it doesn't ruin dungeon exploring for me. A large part of why I loved exploring was to find a new fancy piece of gear but there's literally…
To elaborate based on my experiences in the game and something I read quite a while ago, that seems mostly true. I'm not sure if each dungeon was done solely by a different designer the way you describe it but each dungeon definitely has its own feel and own looting/treasure style for the most part. Plus it seems as you…
You know it's not often I'll buy a game near its release for the full $50-60 starting retail price. Deus Ex I only got because it came with a $20 Target gift card. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood found a deal and got it for $30, same with Portal 2. But for Skyrim, I'm going out at midnight and dropping $120 (for two PC copies…
after 20 hours of playing I feel like I've only seen a small fraction. also, Morokei is kicking my ass hard core - I finally had to just give up and leave so I can come back later. question about mods: if you install a mod can you uninstall it and continue playing? I was playing Stalker Call of Pripyat with the Complete…
