This thing keeps getting better every day! :D BTW, I know I already asked and I guess it's something difficult to fix, but, is there any plan for fixing the language issues soon, or there are other things of higher priority? Thanks a lot for all the support! :_)
omg that looks awesome! trying it today, thanks for this =D edit: had a play around with nDo and some of it's settings with a few random images, there is really great control over the resulting normal map. I can definitely see myself using this a lot in the future, incredibly worth the 11kb download! XD great…
xXm0RpH3usXx: Thanks for the effort anyways :p It works for me on CS4 here. You mean like, after you closed the file before and you want to continue editing your normals? I usually select the "Z-shift" layer, then run Ndo. It even works on my test file that was created with one of the first nDo versions :D
I've used it on a "easter European" version of CS5, with the language information altered so that it goes back to English in all of the menus. That was on a English version of XP 32bit though. Just it helps some anyways (: And great tool :D I'm going to really try it out in the near future on my ongoing project, i'll see…
Just got the new version Ted - use it daily at work, tis awesome. However witht he very latest version when I run nDo it doesn't place the layers between the Z-Shift and the Plane layers. THerefore its all blue until I move the layer between em and F3 again. Bug or am I doing summet wrong? Cheers :D
Teddy: Feature suggested, feature delivered. Teddy, you are unbeleivable :o xXm0RpH3usXx: Not quite shure what you mean. Collapsing the normalmap and making it greyscale won't help me get a heightmap. Anyways, thanks for the effort of writing a script, will still have a look at it for suhre :D EDIT: @xXm0RpH3usXx: Is that…
LOL, With all these people all excited I feel bad for asking such a basic question. How do I actually install nDo and bring up the option window in PS CS4? I'm kinda an old school artist so I tend not to install plug-ins and actions a lot so when I opened the zip file I was a bit baffled as to what i needed to do with the…
Just to make sure, this won't ever work on PS 7.0, right ? I read it works with CS2-CS5 somewhere, yet I just tried to plug the action file to ps. Cavity map and overlay normal kinda works. Yet the important goods don't show up. "The Action "Scripts" is not available". Copied folder to C:/ndo and moved the action into ps…
I believe there's a how-to installation guide on the nDO site, but anyway.. You have two options when installing nDO. One is to locate the folder on C: so that the address for the files inside would be C: \nDO\filename. Once you do that, open PS and look for the Actions window (Alt + F9). Click on Load Action and look for…
