Stupid question. I am looking for a keyboard shortcut for Select -> Select More/ Less -> Next Active. I use this functionality quite a lot (coming from Modo). I can select a single polygon, then select the one next to it, then press 'next active', and it will just select each subsequent polygon each time I press the…
Real quick question: is there a way to do an edgeloop selection from edges already selected? The select loop by clicking is nice but I don't necessarily want that behavior all the time. It does what I want when I go in the menu Select -> Edge Loop/Ring but not when I assign a shortcut to it. Found it: Basically had Loop…
Hey guys, Quick question: Is there a way to select faces like in max (when you drag select anywhere above a polygon it becomes selected unlike the default command that wants you to select the center on the face)? Thank you

EDIT : In fact, you can select with part of the face if the Limit selection to visible feature is turned on. How ca you have the same behavior without this…

Because I seem to recall that that was the entire motivation with changing from select-on-press to select-on-release when migrating the over to the left-click select control scheme. If that is a…
Well snapping uses the selected vertices, but the target can be anything, even on the other side of the mesh. Limit selection to visible will limit your original selection to the visible vertices, but the target part of the snapping has nothing to do with selections. Only the developers can tell you if something is a bug…
