Quick question: in the material node editor I can get the value of a specific channel from a texture by using a RGB separator node, but is there a way to get the value of the alpha channel of a texture?
I still prefer to drag with MMB than tap, although I'm still very much getting used to the system and have a lot more practice required to get up to your level..... :)
Thanks Volantk. That makes me more interested in trying Blender in the near future when I get back into CG and modeling. I am familiar with scripting so I should be able to get it done.
