boyluya: I think the bullet revolvey bit (whatever it's called) in that concept is actually a 2-bullet one rather than a 6 bullet one. The more powerful revolvers in Borderlands tend to be restricted to two shots before reloading.
looks great crazyfool, you should polycrunch that bastard and render him properly, he deserves it. Dunno how powerful your computer is, and maybe you've already crunched him, but that'd also help you with your polypainting.
That's looking pretty rad, Neox. It's a nice break from your more cartoony stuff. Cap Hotkill: The seams are a Marmoset issue. The edges are actually padded everywhere, but for some reason Marmoset just has to do everything in its power to make seams appear.
So the concept is pretty straight forward. a toilet powered by steam. this was done in max and was my first high to low poly bake this was done about 6 months ago just looking for any feedback at all i do need to add a few more edges to smooth out the seat and bowl a bit
I'm no pro but I'd say his "package" is a bit big. The quads hang a bit like fat, I'd tighten them up. His biceps look to elongated and his head is a bit small on his shoulders. He doesn't look powerful to me honestly. But a good model don't get me wrong.
Started working on this guy recently, gotta finish up the body/backpack/face then decide how I want to outfit him; I'm thinking a power klaw / drill combo for the big arms then a skorca and rokkits on the smaller arms. Either way, the assembly instructions for the models on the GW site make for some killer reference :)
Hey all, I'm linking a video on what I'm working on. It's a mech gunner used for following the infantry for fire power. Like a tank with bullet proof glass. I am a college student and I'm still learning. Please feel free to comment if you have any helpfull suggestions. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axDLx5iERlY[/ame]
Na...face stays as it is...I had her more human looking first (proper nose, more 'human' ears), but I wanted her to look different. (For her back-story...her species was concocted by a power-hungry corporation to churn out cheap, efficient and disposable soldiers...she has mostly human DNA, but also different animals,…
Meshia: really cool criter, i like how you handled the paintover, really feels like there some kind of sticky layer on him :) Painbringer: i would love to know how you did those, its kinda cool for place holder statics in level editor. I started this yesterday in 3dcoat, awesome software if you have a very powerful…
Yep, single shot. For when you only need one REALLY big bullet. Long story short, I lost some of the textures in a power outage and had to remake them, some mistakes caused the sampling to get messed up and as a result certain parts are blurred. I was just too annoyed by the time I finnaly finished it to go back and fix…
