Man, I prefer the first lighting pass you have there Mr. Lewis. In no way does it feel flat to me. Actually, it feels pretty close to editorial photography lighting than anything. Awesome sculpt, fella.
There are 2 Points to look for if you are using the photographic exposure control: 1.It heavily depends on the sizes of the scene 2.You have to use the MR Lights for it to work correct(not 100% sure about this, but i think it was something like that)
Looking great neox! Dont be afraid to turn down your bounces and resolution to see if you got it right before rendering. also some reading on MR. http://mentalraytips.blogspot.com/2007/09/famous-mental-ray-myths.html http://mentalraytips.blogspot.com/
ha thanks missed turing on AO there, was focussed so much on finding a working reflection map that i totally ignored that, would love to use some hemispheric masking like i'd do it in realtime but i dunno how to do that with MR
lol oh dear, I know hes a bit a scary but when hes posed and the scenes all laid out it will all make sense and it wont be so scary ........I hope :D Loving Mr Incredible 3dlam and great bake woog :)
Hay guys and girls. Some really ace looking stuff on the thread great work :) Here is a low poly character I working on just to kill some time before I go on holidays with the mrs. let me know what you think.
