I disagree with you on this Rens, his version, the head has real dimension. It looks really flat in yours. I think he should just scale up the hands and keep going, the head is fine.

Fuse: Pull the top of her head down so her eyes are in the middle of her head and pull her ears and the back of her jaw forward a little. You may also want to tone down her cheeks.
It doesn't look better, are you really modelling those heads? it feels that you are using a base mesh head and you are simply deforming it. You must know how to detris a model, just delete the Lines between the quads.
