Oh man, I hope you have a crap load of fun working in cascade for this one Turpedo, and especially for those really cool stylized effects, should be a blast!
Try not to pay toooo much attention to the "too skinny" stuff, you've got a very clean, concise and confident style going on here so it works very well. Very obviously stylized skinny, not Auschwitz skinny.
The last 3 post look great. Cool stylized sculpt ya got going. I'd like to seem a better quality lighting, but the lighting looks really good. Kinda mirrors edge-ish. The black and white "marker lines" look great.
Here is an update of two of the characters I'm working on; The face is very loosely based on Francois Chau's face who played the shredder in the secret of the ooze. I'm going for a more stylized version... Here is another one I'm working on; Feel free to give me critique!
I am super humbled by the work posted here - so much so that I almost didn't want to post this =) But here is a low poly boxer I am working on for an iphone game my friend is attempting to make: I am working on my stylized hand painting...
Coming along, I think I'm going to try my hand at some trim/polish brushes to give him more of a stylized hard surface look Also I definitely need to find a better toon material than framer04; everything comes off too dark, but it gives the closest result to the style I'm aiming for

Looks great, but that poor thin cyborg looks like he will get dragged down by his huge arm constantly, that he has no arm on the other side makes…
P.I.G. I'm loving that gun, although with the overall utilitarian style of it I don't think the skull is really bringing anything to the party. If you a totally stuck on the idea of putting a skull down there, maybe try stylizing into more simple, geometric shapes. Perhaps even a skull shaped out of actual functional bits.…
Sorry to derail discussions about the current projects, but I did have a quick question regarding concept. I'm starting a new project of a stylized Roy Batty (a project I'm sure that has destroyed far better modelers than I) and I've managed to stitch together most of the details for the jacket from stills of the movie,…
oleg- I LOVE that sign man! It looks so nice. I always have a soft spot for stylized pieces of 3D :D .ae- Where did you learn to do those rocks? I would love to give them a shot. slipstream- That weapon is great looking, I love rendering in Marmoset. My favorite part is the huge dent in the canister. Would it be possible…
