It's from here: http://gmgallery.blogspot.com/ And yes, I wanted to model the same robot too. Will have to think of something myself. :) Edit: Damn, too slow. :D
Slow going on this one in between freelance jobs. I haven't really touched the a lot of areas so places like lower legs/ foot area are all a bit funky at the minute.
Hey everyone, back from a long time ago. Been working on this for weeks for a class. I'm feeling really slow. Does speed improve over time? Also still working on the floor.
awesome prolow, the textures are really on the spot, especially on the face/hair. the whole body is perfect except for the flat/cube feet and the aforementioned cankles Edit: might as well contribute, sub-d modelling is so slow!!
Been kind of a slow day today but I am currently working on a challenge and level for class (trying to merge the two).Just a quick rock prop I thought turned out pretty cool and I thought I would share.
A little update on the Unity lightmap renderer. I got in-editor rendering and material handling figured out so its almost at a useable state. Its still rather slow though, this scene takes about 1 minute for a full rebuild with 4,500,000 total raycasts.
Everytime I try to model a face I usually end up crashing the client in anger, *fistshaking* at the skies. This time I tried slowing down, and atleast give it a fair chance. Edit: I know hes eyes are big, was ref'ing from Burne Hogarth's books.
this is what i am currently working on but lots of things slowing me down the past few days. the reference image looks weird cause i didn't take off the wide angle lens. when i rendered it i saw all the things i already wanted to fix like the nose
Flu coming on, sore throat and ache. Get your shots, if you haven't yet! Made a bored and lonely modular mushroom in a couple slow hours tonight. Probably should have used reference... eh, internet-less art PC is lame. Next time I will make a photorealistic morel or something.
